As a young child, you may remember singing a kid's song in church, entitled 

"The B-I-B-LE".   The song went like this: 

The B-I-B-L-E. 

     Yes, that's the book for me. 

       I stand alone on the word of God.

  Millions of people from all over the world have a book that they believe to be holy and the inspired word of the Christian God.  Christians call this book their Holy Bible!  Many believe that everything in the Bible is the absolute truth and should be taken literally.  You may want to ask yourself, where did the contents of the Bible originally come from and who really wrote the books of the Bible?  Out of all the ancient sacred writings in Hebrew and Greek, who determined what writings were to be included in the Holy Bible?  Are the stories in the Bible historically true or just legends passed down from generation to generation?  Have the early writings been added to and altered so much that the Bible is now the perfect book to deceive people into believing that it is true?
