Oh, the joys of Christmas!  Most Christians find themselves every December celebrating what they believe to be the birth of the baby Jesus.  A baby that was miraculously born of a young human woman that was impregnated by the holy spirit of the Christian God.  The birth of the baby Jesus makes for a wonderful story, but did it actually happen?  If you believe that there is an almighty god up in the sky somewhere and believe that a god can impregnate a young virgin woman with his holy spirit, then you would also believe that there was a baby Jesus!  What historical evidence is there for such an event?  Could it just be another story that was made up by early religious leaders to promote their new religion of Christianity?  If there was a historical Jesus, he certainly wasn't the son of a virgin that was impregnated by the spirit of an almighty god.  He would have been a baby that was conceived and born into the world like any other baby.
